Last updated: 22/04/2026

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Roam Cafe Bistro website at roamcafebistro.co.uk (the “Website”) and any services offered through it, including table bookings, enquiries and careers applications.

By using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the Website.

1. About us

This Website is operated by Roam Cafe Bistro, located at The Farmstead, Linmere, Houghton Regis, LU5 5GX.

2. Using this website

You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else’s use of the Website.

You must not:

  • Use the Website in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent or harmful
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Website, its servers or any connected database
  • Introduce viruses, malware or any other harmful code
  • Use any automated means to scrape, harvest or extract data from the Website

You may view and print pages from the Website for your own personal use, subject to these Terms. You must not otherwise copy, modify, distribute, publish, license or sell any content from the Website without our prior written permission.

4. Bookings

Table reservations can be made by phone, email or via the booking form on our Website.

  • A booking is only confirmed once you have received confirmation from us by phone or email.
  • We reserve the right to decline, amend or cancel a booking in exceptional circumstances (for example, closure, staffing issues or events outside our control).
  • Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to amend or cancel a booking so we can offer the table to another guest.
  • We may hold tables for up to 15 minutes past the booked time; after this, we may release the table unless you have contacted us.
  • For larger group bookings, we may request additional details in advance, including dietary requirements or deposits.

5. Food, drink and allergens

We take food safety and allergen information seriously and do our best to give accurate information about ingredients used in our dishes.

  • Our kitchen handles a range of allergens, including (but not limited to) gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, soy, mustard, celery and sulphites. We cannot guarantee any dish is 100% free from a specific allergen due to the shared kitchen environment.
  • If you have a food allergy, intolerance or specific dietary requirement, please let a member of our team know when you order so we can advise you.
  • Menu items, prices and availability may change without notice. The most up-to-date information is what you see in-cafe at the time of your visit.

6. Payment

All prices are in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. We accept cash and major debit and credit cards in the cafe. Payment is taken at the till or at the table, as applicable.

7. Links to other websites

The Website may contain links to third-party websites that are not owned or controlled by Roam Cafe Bistro. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of those websites and provide the links for convenience only.

8. Our liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:

  • Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
  • Any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under English law

Subject to the above, the Website and its content are provided “as is” and we make no warranties or representations about the accuracy or completeness of the information on it. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the Website.
