Having spent the last eight years fuelling the local community from our Really Awesome Coffee vans, we’re delighted to have secured the site for ROAM Café Bistro at the Farmstead. It allows us to welcome old friends and newly arrived residents to the town in the same warm way we were welcomed 23 years ago when we arrived in Houghton Regis.
The Venue we have at ROAM is, in our opinion, something a bit special and we hope you’ll agree when you come to visit us. Our family-based team look forward to welcoming everyone from far and wide into the newest part of our community.
We’ve been welcoming many of you at Houghton Hall Park or Luton & Dunstable Hospital for many years, as well as visiting lots of our loyal customers at their workplaces and even your homes…. in our Really Awesome Coffee vans.
ROAM Café Bistro is the latest addition to our family business giving us even more opportunities to serve great coffee and fabulous food from around the world to our local community. Did we mention the venue?

OUR HOME
The Farmstead at Linmere
The Farmstead is located at Linmere on the edge of our hometown here in Houghton Regis. It’s a beautiful place that really lets you sit back, savour the flavour and relax. There’s a fantastic kids’ playpark right by the windows so you can sip wine or a beer in the evening while the kids tire themselves out – if you’re lucky!
We’re also within 100 metres of some fabulous greenspaces with relaxing walks and outdoor exercise equipment for those wanting to relax a little less! Plenty of room for sports on the playing field and a purpose-built pump track for the riders and skaters to defy gravity. At the end of your adventure, we’ll be waiting at ROAM to welcome you for a rest and refuel.
Your Evening Venue is Close to Home
But wait, the goodness doesn’t end there. When the sun dips and the first stars peek out, we switch gears to turn into a contemporary bistro where we combine our love of food with a warm welcome and service with a smile and a laugh.
Our passion for travelling and food combine to bring you our favourite flavours from around the world served up street food style. So, if like us you love exploring Food festivals and events, then come on down in the evening and enjoy a drink or three whilst we prepare your choice of dishes from across the culinary globe.
Check out our menus where you’ll find some classic street food dishes and our take on some great food we’ve discovered on our travels! The food of the world is on your doorstep within a fantastic venue with local live music and the company of friends. What more could you ask for?
Some drinks, of course! We have our favourite world beers on draught as well as a selection of ales and lagers from across the globe. These are supported by a selection of wines, cocktails, and spirits that’ll remind you of faraway places, so sit back sip and imagine!
